Whole dark chia seeds, certified organic, gluten-free and non-GMO, with nothing added. Chia is a small seed with a mild, neutral taste that swells into a gel when it meets liquid. One serving has 3 g of omega-3, 5 g of dietary fibre and 3 g of protein, and the seeds are a source of antioxidants.

Make chia pudding by soaking the seeds overnight in milk or a plant-based milk, sprinkle them over oatmeal, salads and smoothie bowls, or whisk them with water to make an egg replacer for baking. They may contain tree nuts and sesame. Store the bag sealed in a cool, dry cupboard.
