Our entire produce department is organic and sourced locally where possible, which we think is a big deal.
Our entire produce department is certified organic — not a section of it, all of it — and we source from Nova Scotia growers whenever the season allows. Produce is the one department we keep in-store only: it is picked, delivered and sold fresh, and it does not belong in a shipping box.

Is every item organic?
Yes. Everything in the produce department is certified organic. We do not run a conventional line alongside it.
How much is local?
It changes with the season. Through summer and fall much of the table is from Nova Scotia growers; in winter we bring in organic produce from further away and say so on the sign.
Can I get produce delivered?
Yes, same-day across Halifax, Bedford and Dartmouth with Luminate Express. Produce is packed to order and kept cold until it reaches you. It does not ship outside the delivery zones.
Which store has more produce?
Dartmouth has the larger produce department. Bedford carries the everyday essentials year-round.
