Stefano Faita Creamy Tomato Soup, 605 mL

Stefano Faita's creamy tomato soup starts with whole peeled Italian tomatoes, adds cream and Parmesan, and simmers them with carrot, onion, celery, garlic, basil and extra virgin olive oil. The result is thick and rich, more like a restaurant tomato bisque than a thin canned soup, with a short list of ingredients you can read.

It comes in a 605 mL glass jar. Pour it into a pot and heat gently; do not microwave it in the jar. Once opened, refrigerate and use within seven days. Classic with a grilled cheese for dipping, or go the Italian route with mozzarella in carrozza.
