Kato Matcha's Ceremonial Summer Harvest is stone-milled Japanese green tea from Uji, Kyoto. It is ceremonial grade, so it is fine enough to whisk straight into water and drink as a bowl of tea, and the tasting notes are smooth, umami and vegetal.

The only ingredient is the tea itself. Sift a small scoop into a bowl, add hot (not boiling) water and whisk until frothy; it also makes a good latte with your milk of choice. The 40 g tin is a little larger than the spring harvest. Keep it sealed, cool and out of the light once opened.
