Green Organic Shelled Soybeans, better known as edamame, come frozen in a 500 g bag with the pods already removed. That makes them a quick, no-fuss addition to a meal: firm, slightly sweet green beans that hold their shape through cooking.

Boil or steam them for a few minutes from frozen and eat them warm with a pinch of salt, or cool them and add to grain bowls, salads, fried rice, soups and stir-fries. They blend into a bright green dip with lemon and olive oil too. Keep the bag sealed in the freezer.
