Chickapea Organic Penne Pasta, 227 g

Chickapea's Organic Penne is pasta made from two ingredients: organic yellow pea flour and organic chickpea flour. There is no wheat in it, and the legumes bring 20 g of plant protein and 5 g of fibre to every 85 g serving, with a taste and bite close to the classic.

Penne's ridges and hollow centre hold on to sauce, so it suits a chunky tomato sauce, a pesto or a creamy alfredo equally well. Cook it in plenty of salted boiling water for five to eight minutes, drain and rinse. It also holds up well in a cold pasta salad. Keep the box in a dry cupboard.
