A 907 g (2 lb) bag of certified organic yellow onions, the workhorse onion that starts most dinners. Sharp when raw, they turn sweet and mellow as they cook down.

Keep the bag in a cool, dry, dark spot with some airflow, not the fridge, and they will last for weeks. Dice them into soups and sauces, slice and caramelise them slowly for burgers and tarts, or roast wedges with a little oil. Priced per bag.
