Certified organic red onions, sold in a 1.36 kg (3 lb) bag. Red onions are milder and a little sweeter than yellow, with a colour that brightens up a plate. Keep the bag somewhere cool, dark and dry and they last for weeks.
Slice them thin and raw for salads, tacos and sandwiches, quick-pickle them in vinegar, or grill thick rings until soft and sweet.
