About this product

Certified organic whole turmeric root, sold by the package. Fresh turmeric looks like a smaller, orange cousin of ginger and has an earthy, peppery flavour with a bit of citrus that the dried powder loses.

Keep it in the fridge in a paper bag, or freeze it and grate as needed. Grate it into curries, rice and soups, blend it into a smoothie with ginger and orange, or simmer slices for a golden tea. It stains, so mind your cutting board and your fingers. Priced per package.
