Wholesome Natural Raw Cane Turbinado Sugar, 1.5 lb

Wholesome Natural Raw Cane Turbinado Sugar is a blond, large-crystal raw sugar made from sugarcane grown in Malawi and Mauritius. Turbinado sugar keeps a little of the cane's natural molasses in every crystal, which gives it a rich, rounded sweetness that white sugar lacks. It is Fair Trade Certified, and the premiums go straight to the farming communities that grow and harvest the cane.

Use it one-for-one in place of refined sugar. It dissolves nicely in coffee and tea, and the coarse crystals make a sparkling, crunchy topping on muffins, scones, pie crusts and crumbles. Store it in a sealed container in a dry cupboard. The bag holds 1.5 lb (680 g).
