Violife Creamy Vegan Cream Cheese with Chives is a dairy-free spread made from coconut oil and potato starch with a chive flavour running through it. It is smooth and spreadable straight from the fridge, with the mild tang you expect from cream cheese and none of the milk. The ingredient list is short: water, coconut oil, potato starch, sea salt, glucono delta lactone, flavour and olive extract.

Spread it on a toasted bagel or crackers, stir a spoonful into mashed potatoes or a pasta sauce for creaminess, or thin it with a little lemon juice for a quick dip. Keep it refrigerated.
