About this product
Uncle Lee's Organic White Tea is Bai Mu Dan, also called White Peony, grown in the mountains of China's Fujian province. It is made from the tender young buds and leaves that remain after the prized Silver Needle harvest. White tea gets very little processing, with no steaming, rolling or oxidation, so the leaves stay close to their natural state.
The cup is the most delicate of the teas: subtle, layered and mildly sweet. It is low in caffeine and can be enjoyed hot or cold. The tea is certified organic and kosher, with 40 bags to a box.
