About this product
Santevia Mineral Stones are the replacement stones for the Santevia Counter Top Mineralizing Water System, where they form the final stage of the filter. The pack combines maifan stones with bio-ceramic balls.
Once water has passed through the earlier filter stages, it sits over these stones, which slowly release minerals into it: calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron and other trace minerals. They also help hold the water's alkalinity, since filtered water tends to drift back toward a lower pH on its own. Santevia likens the effect to a mountain stream running over rock, and the result is water that tastes fresh and clean. A set lasts up to two years before it needs replacing.
