Organic Traditions barley grass juice powder is made by juicing young barley grass, harvested while the plant is still a green shoot, and drying the juice into a fine powder. Because the fibre has been pressed out, it mixes more easily than a whole-grass powder. Organic Traditions grows the barley outdoors in mineral-rich soil and sunlight rather than in indoor trays.

It is a source of chlorophyll, vitamins and minerals. Mix it into water, coconut water, juice or a smoothie, or stir it into pesto, salad dressings, dips and raw soups. The taste is grassy, as you would expect. Keep it sealed and out of the sun.
