L'Ancêtre Mozzarella 28%, 200 g

A 200 g block of mozzarella from L'Ancêtre at 28% milk fat. It is a firm, mild cheese that slices cleanly and melts smoothly, which makes it the block to keep on hand for weeknight cooking.

Grate it over pizza and pasta bakes, layer it into lasagna, or slice it for grilled cheese and paninis. Wrap the cut end well and keep it in the fridge; it grates more easily straight from the cold.
