About this product
Guayaki's Enlighten Mint is a non-sparkling yerba mate drink that brews organic yerba mate with peppermint, then rounds it out with organic mint flavour and a touch of citric acid. It is sweetened with organic cane sugar and organic honey, so it is not a vegan pick, and it is caffeinated, with organic caffeine added to what the mate already carries.
The result is cool and clean rather than sweet, closer to a mint iced tea than a soft drink. Drink it cold from the can, or pour it over ice for an afternoon pick-me-up. Yerba mate's grassy, faintly bitter character sits well under the peppermint. A bottle deposit applies.
