Firstcut potato chips are cooked in beef tallow instead of seed oil, then finished with sea salt. That is the whole list: potatoes, beef tallow, sea salt. Cooking in tallow gives them a sturdy crunch and a rich, savoury flavour that plain vegetable-oil chips do not have.

Sea Salt is the one to start with if you want to taste what the tallow does. Open a bag with sandwiches or burgers, pile them next to a dip, or crush a handful over a bowl of chili. Not suitable for vegetarians.
