Badger Balm is a thick, concentrated salve for dry, cracked hands and any skin that has taken a beating from weather, work or washing. It is USDA certified organic and made from a very short list: extra virgin olive oil, beeswax, castor oil, aloe vera and wintergreen oil.

The scent is a mild sweet birch and wintergreen, the smell of an old-fashioned muscle rub. Warm a little between your fingers and press it into knuckles, heels, elbows and cuticles, ideally at night so it has time to sink in. It is tough enough for gardeners, carpenters and winter skin, and gentle enough to use every day. The tin fits a coat pocket.
