Simply Organic Ground Nutmeg is pure organic nutmeg (Myristica fragrans), the dried seed of an evergreen fruit, ground with its natural oils intact. That high oil content is why it smells so aromatic and tastes warm, sweet and subtly spicy, with the depth you only get from real nutmeg. No GMOs.

A pinch goes into eggnog, custard, rice pudding, pumpkin pie and spice cake, but it is just as at home in savoury cooking: béchamel, creamed spinach, squash soup, mashed potatoes and meatballs.
