Organic Canadian Long Grain Wild Rice Bulk

Organic Canadian wild rice is not really a rice at all but the seed of an aquatic grass, harvested in Canada. The long, dark grains cook up chewy and nutty, with a taste that is a little smoky and earthy. It is sold by weight from our bulk section, so you can take just what you need.

Rinse it, then simmer in plenty of water for 40 to 50 minutes until the grains split and curl. Serve it as a side, stir it into soups and stuffings, or toss it into a salad with dried cranberries and toasted nuts. Store it in a sealed jar in a cool, dry cupboard.
