Bioflavonoids are the plant pigments that give citrus fruit much of its colour, and Natural Factors Citrus Bioflavonoids draws them from the rind and pulp of citrus fruits. Each capsule carries a 500 mg citrus bioflavonoid complex plus 150 mg of hesperidin, the bioflavonoid found in oranges, for 650 mg in all.
Bioflavonoids are often taken alongside vitamin C, since the body uses them together and they help slow vitamin C's breakdown. Natural Factors positions this one as antioxidant support for the maintenance of good health. The capsule is gelatin, and the formula is free from GMOs, soy, gluten, artificial colours, preservatives and sweeteners.
