2301 - Organic Arrowroot Powder Bulk

Organic arrowroot powder from our bulk section, sold by weight. Arrowroot is a fine white starch from a tropical root, and it is the thickener to reach for when you want a glossy, clear finish: fruit sauces, pie fillings, gravies and stir-fry sauces all set nicely without the cloudiness of flour. It is also a common ingredient in home-made deodorant, dry shampoo and body powder.

Bring a clean jar or use one of our bags, weigh it empty at the till, scoop what you need and pay by weight. Mix it with a little cold water before adding to anything hot, and add it near the end of cooking. Store in a sealed jar in a dry cupboard.
