Tom Vindaloo Spice is a ready-made vindaloo seasoning for the spice drawer. Vindaloo blends are typically hot and tangy, with warm spices behind the chilli, so this is one to reach for when you want a curry with real heat.

Malini Veerassamy-MacDonald started Taste of Mauritius in Halifax as a weekly takeaway and grew it into catering and a line of spice blends and sauces sold across the Maritimes. The blends bring the Indian, Creole and Chinese influences of Mauritian cooking to a Nova Scotia kitchen.
