Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Acne Gel is a clear spot gel built around tea tree oil at a 20% concentration. It is made for blemish-prone skin: you dab a small amount onto a spot, and the gel dries clear so nobody can tell it is there. Because it is concentrated, a little goes a long way and the 10 g tube lasts.

It is free of benzoyl peroxide, parabens, propylene glycol, lauryl sulphates and synthetic fragrances, colours and preservatives, and contains no animal-derived ingredients. If you find tea tree a bit drying, the label suggests following with a small amount of aloe vera gel.
