The Oat Company's Sea Salt Brownie bar has five ingredients: organic dates, organic gluten-free oats, organic cocoa, roasted peanuts and sea salt from the Newfoundland Salt Company in Bonavista. The dates do the sweetening, so there is no added sugar, and there is no dairy. It tastes like a fudgy brownie with a hint of salt, which is the point.

It is a filling bar that works as a mid-morning snack, a pre-hike bite or a lunch-box dessert, and the Atlantic Canadian sea salt is a nice touch of home. Contains peanuts. Gluten-free.
