St. Francis Herb Farm's Oregon Grape is a liquid herbal extract (tincture) made from wildcrafted Oregon grape root, Berberis aquifolium, in distilled water and certified organic alcohol. Nothing else is added.

Oregon grape root is a bitter herb. It is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine for the skin and as a cholagogue, which means it helps support the flow of bile from the liver and gallbladder. Like most bitters it is taken diluted in a little water, and the dropper bottle makes measuring easy.
