Dirty Hipster is a soy wax candle from Routine, the Calgary company best known for its natural deodorant. Each one is hand poured in Calgary, Alberta with natural soy wax into a glass vessel made in the USA. Routine describes the scent, tongue in cheek, as the boy you liked in junior high and the sweatshirt you never gave back: nostalgic, worn-in and hard to pin down.

For the best burn, let the wax pool right to the edges the first time you light it, trim the wick to about 5 mm before each use, and keep it away from drafts. Once the wax is gone, wash out the glass and reuse it.
