Prairie Naturals Barley Grass, 150 g

Barley grass is the young leaf of the barley plant, cut before the grain forms and dried into a green powder. This is Prairie Naturals' version in a 150 g tub, part of their greens line, and it tastes the way it looks: fresh and grassy.

Stir it into water or juice, or blend it into a morning smoothie where banana or pineapple softens the flavour. It also disappears easily into a green soup or a salad dressing. Keep the lid on tight and store it in a cool, dry place away from light so the colour holds.
