Organic Traditions sprouted chia seed powder is made from certified organic chia seeds that are sprouted, then cold milled into a fine powder. Sprouting is done for easier digestion, and the powder is a source of omega-3 fats and high in fibre. It has a mild, nutty taste that gets out of the way.

Stir a spoonful into smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt or pancake batter, or use it in baking as a binder in place of an egg when mixed with water. This is the 227 g bag. Keep it sealed in a cool, dry place, or in the fridge once opened to protect the oils.
