Navitas Organics Gelatinized Maca Powder is maca root, a root vegetable from the high Andes, dried and milled into a powder. Gelatinized means the raw root has been heated to break down its starches, which makes the powder easier to blend and, for many people, easier on the stomach than raw maca.
