Mateina Organic Yerba Mate Loose Leaf is a classic Argentine-style cut, con palos: leaves, stems and a little powder. The stems mellow the brew and take the edge off the leaf's bitterness, giving a smoother, naturally sweeter cup than a leaf-only mate. It comes from a single farming family in northeastern Argentina who grow it organically and sell it fair trade.
