Karma Eleven - Black Tourmaline

A piece of black tourmaline from Karma Eleven. Black tourmaline is a dense, deep black stone with a matte to glassy surface and natural ridges running along its length. It is one of the most-asked-for stones in the crystal case, and it is traditionally associated with grounding and a sense of protection.

Set it by the front door, on a desk or beside the bed, or carry a piece in a coat pocket. Black tourmaline can be brittle along its grain, so handle it gently and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth rather than washing it. Each piece is natural, so size and shape vary.

• Natural black tourmaline, sold individually
• Deep black, matte to glassy
• Size and shape vary
