Host Defense Liver pairs two well-known liver herbs, milk thistle seed extract and turmeric root, with four mushroom mycelia: chaga, reishi, turkey tail and mesima. Milk thistle and turmeric are used to help support liver health, and a little black pepper is added alongside the turmeric. It is one of the Host Defense formulas that combine mushroom mycelium with botanicals.
