Cape Herb & Spice Oak Smoked Salt is sea salt that has been slowly smoked over oak, giving it a deep amber colour and a rich, savoury smokiness without any liquid smoke or artificial flavour. It comes in a grinder so you can crack it fresh over food.

A little goes a long way. Grind it over steak, grilled or roasted vegetables, a baked potato or a plate of eggs, and it adds a campfire note without firing up the barbecue. It is also good in a rub for pork or chicken, sprinkled over avocado toast, or on the rim of a Caesar. Keep it dry so it grinds cleanly.
