Anita's Organic Mill Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour is milled on stone mills at a low temperature from organic hard red spring wheat grown in Western Canada. Because the whole kernel goes through the stones, the flour keeps all of the bran, germ and endosperm, and it comes out slightly coarser and more textured than roller-milled flour. Protein sits around 13%, which is what you want for bread.

It is the flour for artisan loaves, sourdough and rustic pizza bases, and it works in muffins and pancakes wherever a heartier crumb is welcome. Store it in a cool, dry place or the freezer.
