2693 Bulk Organic Ground Fenugreek Seed

Organic ground fenugreek seed from our bulk spice section, sold by weight. Fenugreek has a warm, slightly bitter flavour with an aroma a lot like maple, and it is a backbone spice in Indian, Middle Eastern and North African cooking. You will find it in curry powders, berbere, pickles and dal.

Bring a clean jar or use one of our bags, weigh it empty at the till, scoop what you need and pay by weight. A little goes a long way, so buy small and buy often; ground spices lose their aroma over a few months. Bloom it briefly in hot oil at the start of a curry, or stir a pinch into a spice rub or chutney. Store sealed, away from heat and light.
