What exactly can I win?
One prize: CAD125 in Luminate store credit each week for 52 weeks, worth CAD6,500 in total. Redeem it at Bedford, Dartmouth or online. The first full Monday–Sunday week after winner verification begins the award. Unused credit expires Sundays at 11:59 p.m. Halifax time; no rollover, cash exchange or transfer.
Can I earn another entry when I shop again?
Yes! Every separate qualifying purchase of CAD50 or more after discounts and before tax earns one entry. Shop again and earn another entry each time you make a qualifying purchase, from November 2–30. For example, two separate qualifying CAD50 purchases earn two entries. One qualifying CAD100 purchase earns one entry. Shipping, gift-card purchases and clinic services are excluded. Cancellations or refunds reducing the qualifying amount below CAD50 remove the entry.
Can I enter without making a purchase?
Yes. Write an original essay of at least 300 words directly on the entry page about the top 10 products you would purchase first if you won and the impact winning would make on you. We generate a one-page PDF for private review. One entry per valid original essay; multiple original essays are allowed, but duplicates earn no extra entries. When does the contest run, and who can enter?
Eligible purchases run November 2–30, 2026. Entries close November 30 at 11:59 p.m. Halifax time. Open to Nova Scotia residents aged 18 and over, excluding Luminate staff and their household members. Draw December 4, 2026.
How is the winner chosen?
By random draw on December 4, 2026. The selected entrant is contacted by email and phone and has seven days to respond. Eligibility verification and a correctly answered skill-testing question are required. Ineligible or unclaimed selections are redrawn. Odds depend on eligible entries; writing quality does not improve your odds.

Eligibility. Open to Nova Scotia residents aged 18 and over. Luminate staff and members of their households are excluded.
Prize. One prize valued at CAD6,500: CAD125 in Luminate store credit each week for 52 weeks. Credit can be redeemed in Bedford, Dartmouth and online. The first full Monday–Sunday week after winner verification begins the 52 weeks. No cash exchange or transfer. Unused weekly credit expires Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Halifax time and does not roll over.
Purchase entries. Eligible purchases begin November 2, 2026. Every separate qualifying purchase of CAD50 or more after discounts and before tax earns one entry when linked to a customer account. Shop again and earn another entry each time you make a qualifying purchase. There is no per-person, per-account or daily limit on qualifying purchase entries. Each transaction counts once: two separate qualifying CAD50 purchases earn two entries; one qualifying CAD100 purchase earns one entry. Submitting the same transaction again does not create another entry. Shipping, gift-card purchases and clinic services do not count toward the qualifying amount. Cancellations or refunds that reduce the qualifying amount below CAD50 remove the entry. Guests can link an eligible receipt to their account before the contest closes.
No-purchase entries. Write an original essay of at least 300 words directly on the entry page, using paragraphs, bold, italics or lists. Preview the generated one-page PDF before submitting it for private review. Describe the top 10 products you would love to purchase first if you won, and the impact winning would make on you. The essay must be your own work and not written by AI. One entry per valid original essay; multiple original essays are allowed, but duplicate submissions do not earn extra entries. Closing and draw. Entries close November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Halifax time. The winner will be selected by random draw on December 4, 2026 and contacted by email and phone. The selected entrant has seven days to respond and must meet eligibility requirements and correctly answer a skill-testing question. An ineligible or unclaimed selection will be redrawn. An 18-year-old winner’s release will receive appropriate handling. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received; essay quality does not improve the odds.
Privacy. Information and essays are used to administer the contest, verify eligibility, review submissions and contact entrants or the selected winner. No marketing signup or public essay use is required. Non-winner essays, contact details and dates of birth are deleted 90 days after the prize is awarded and disputes are resolved. Only necessary winner and prize records are kept longer to administer the award. Access is restricted to authorized reviewers and necessary service providers.
