If you are searching for where to buy supplements in Halifax, the short answer is that we have the biggest selection in Atlantic Canada, in two stores, with people on the floor who can tell you what is worth buying. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Two stores, same range
The Bedford store at 486 Starboard Drive has carried the supplement wall since 2019, and the Dartmouth store at 590 Portland Street opened in September 2026 with the same lines. Both are open Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 8:30 pm and weekends 9 am to 6 pm. Bedford is ten minutes from Clayton Park and Sackville; Dartmouth sits at Portland Street and Baker Drive on the way to Cole Harbour.
What is on the wall
Vitamins and minerals, probiotics, omega-3s, protein and sports nutrition, herbal tinctures, homeopathics, kids' and prenatal formulas, and the practitioner-grade lines that are normally only sold through clinics. More than 250 brands in all. The ones people ask for most:
- CanPrev, Natural Factors, AOR, St. Francis Herb Farm, Naka, New Roots, Organika, Nature's Way (made in Dartmouth)
- Practitioner lines: Genestra, NFH, Cyto-Matrix, Designs for Health, Pure Encapsulations, Thorne, Metagenics
- Local: NutraSea omega-3s from Dartmouth, Honibe from PEI, and the Atlantic Canadian makers across the store

How we help you choose
A wellness advisor is in the supplement department seven days a week at both stores. Bring a practitioner's recommendation and we will match it, or bring a question and we will narrow it down. If you want a proper plan, the naturopathic doctors in our Bedford clinic see patients in person and virtually, and most insurers are billed directly.
Licensed and labelled
Natural health products sold in Canada are licensed by Health Canada and carry an eight-digit Natural Product Number. We show the NPN in the Details panel of every licensed product online, alongside ingredients, directions and warnings where we have them, so you can check a product before you buy it.
Online, delivered or picked up
Everything on the wall is on the website. Order by 11 am and Luminate Express delivers the same afternoon anywhere in HRM, from $8.99 and free over $100 near Bedford. Pickup is free: Bedford orders are usually ready in about two hours, Dartmouth within 24. Outside HRM, shipping anywhere in Canada is free over $80.
A note on practitioner lines
Some makers ask that prices be shown only to account holders. If a product says "sign in to see price", create a free account and the price and Add to cart appear.
