Zing Sacha-Ish Chili Miso Condiment, 175 mL

Sacha-ish is a chili miso condiment made by Zing with TV host and food personality Pay Chen. It takes its cue from shacha jiang, the savoury dipping sauce Pay remembers from Taiwanese hot pot dinners, and reworks it around miso. Cold-pressed sunflower oil carries miso, dried chili, desiccated coconut, sesame paste, fermented black beans, dried seaweed, garlic and ginger, with vinegar for tang and a little cane sugar to round it out.

Use it anywhere you would use a regular miso, and then some. Stir it into noodles, rice or soup, whisk it into a dressing or marinade, spread it on a sandwich, or spoon it over eggs, tofu or roasted vegetables when a dish needs a savoury, spicy lift. It contains soy and sesame. Refrigerate after opening.
