The Holmstead's simplest bar: fresh goat's milk soap with no colour and no scent added. The short ingredient list is goat's milk, olive oil, coconut oil, certified sustainable palm oil, apricot kernel oil and cocoa butter, and that is it. The maker recommends it for very sensitive skin.
A plain, creamy bar for face, hands or body, and a good pick for anyone in the house who reacts to fragrance. Use daily on wet skin, lather and rinse. Let it dry on a draining dish between uses so it holds its shape.

Goat milk soap from a hobby farm near Georgian Bay.
The Holmstead is a family farm in Carling, Ontario that breeds Nigerian Dwarf goats and turns their milk into soap, lotion and sugar scrub by hand. Goat milk is gentle on dry and sensitive skin, and the bars are named for the farm's corner of Georgian Bay, like Muskoka Mint and Northern Sunset.
