A kids' toothbrush with a bamboo handle in a bright rainbow colour, from Canadian brand The Future Is Bamboo. Bamboo is a fast-growing grass that is farmed without pesticides or insecticides, and the handle can be composted at the end of its life, so the brush leaves less plastic behind than a standard one.

Sized for small hands and small mouths. Rinse the brush after use and stand it upright somewhere it can dry between brushings, as bamboo likes to dry out. Replace it every three months or so, the same as any toothbrush, and snap off the head before composting the handle.
