Valerian root is one of the best-known herbs for sleep, and this is St. Francis Herb Farm's single-herb tincture of it. Valerian is traditionally used in Western herbalism as a sleep aid and to help relieve nervousness and restlessness. The tincture is made from valerian root in certified organic alcohol and distilled water, with nothing else added.

You take it in a little water, either through the day for calm or in the evening before bed, following the directions on the bottle. The 100 mL size lasts well at the usual drop amounts, so it is the one to choose if valerian is part of your regular routine.
