About this product

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is the mushroom Chinese herbal tradition calls the mushroom of immortality. St. Francis Herb Farm makes its capsules from the fruiting body only, not mycelium grown on grain, using organic reishi and a multi-step extraction. Each capsule holds an 8:1 extract equivalent to 800 mg of dried mushroom, third-party tested at an average of 34.2% beta glucans.

Reishi is used in herbal medicine as an adaptogen to help the body cope with stress and to help support immune function, and it is generally taken with food. The capsules are hypromellose with rice hull powder, and the formula is alcohol-free.
