Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) is a mint-family herb with a long history of use in both Eastern and Western traditions, and its Latin name hints at its old reputation as a herb for the heart. St. Francis Herb Farm extracts the flowering tops at 1:4 in alcohol, distilled water and vegetable glycerine.

It is used in Herbal Medicine as a sedative to help relieve nervousness and restlessness, and it is traditionally taken alongside as a heart tonic, particularly when nervous tension and a rapid heartbeat go together. Take it in a little water on an empty stomach as the label directs. 100 mL bottle with dropper.
