Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is a gentle, lemon-scented member of the mint family that has been valued as a mild sedative and calming herb since antiquity. St. Francis Herb Farm extracts the tops at 1:4 in distilled water and certified organic alcohol.

It is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help soothe frayed nerves and restlessness, to promote restful sleep and to ease a nervous stomach.
