Chastetree (Vitex agnus-castus), also called vitex or chasteberry, is a shrub whose berries have a long place in women's herbalism. St. Francis Herb Farm extracts certified organic chastetree berries in distilled water and certified organic alcohol for this single-herb tincture.

It is used in Herbal Medicine as a hormone normalizer to help stabilize menstrual cycle irregularities, to help relieve premenstrual symptoms and to help relieve symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flashes.
