St. Francis Herb Farm's Canadian Bitters is a classic digestive bitters tincture, taken in a little water before meals. Bitter flavours are something most modern diets lack, and a few drops on the tongue before eating prompt the body's own digestive response: saliva, gastric juices, enzymes and bile. Used this way it helps with occasional gas, bloating and heartburn and supports good digestion over time.

The blend is globe artichoke, dandelion, gentian, chamomile, turmeric, cardamom, burdock, black walnut hull and ginger, extracted in distilled water and certified organic alcohol. It is bitter, as it should be; take it 15 to 60 minutes before meals.
