Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is an adaptogen, a herb traditionally used to help the body cope with stress. St. Francis Herb Farm extracts the root at 1:4 in certified organic alcohol and distilled water to make this simple, single-herb tincture.
It is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a tonic to help relieve the symptoms of stress, such as low energy, poor concentration and restless sleep, and to help renew energy. Take it in a little water on an empty stomach as the label directs. The 100 mL bottle comes with a dropper; capsules are also available if you prefer not to taste it.
