Soursop

Soursop is a large tropical fruit with green, spiny skin and soft white flesh that tastes somewhere between pineapple and strawberry, with a creamy finish. It is sold by weight, and about 500 g is roughly one fruit.

Ripen it on the counter until it gives slightly when pressed, then refrigerate and eat within a couple of days. Scoop out the flesh, pick out the black seeds, and eat it fresh or blend it into smoothies and juice.
