Rudi's Chipotle Honey Hickory is a barbecue sauce made in Halifax, in a 250 mL bottle. It starts with organic tomato sauce and organic cane sugar, then layers in honey, molasses, apple, chipotle and natural hickory smoke, with ginger, cinnamon, allspice and clove in the background. Sweet first, smoky second, with a gentle chipotle warmth that builds.

Brush it on ribs, chicken or tofu in the last few minutes on the grill so the sugars caramelize without burning, stir it into pulled pork or jackfruit, or use it as a dip for fries and wings. Gluten-free and non-GMO. Refrigerate after opening.
